Havering Volunteer Week
As you may know Havering Volunteers’ Week 1-7th June is nearly upon us.
Unfortunately, due to these unprecedented circumstances the Havering Volunteer Centre will not be able to provide a Havering Volunteers Thank You event this year. Havering takes pride in our volunteers and what they achieve all year round, therefore, it is time to say thank you and ‘Cheers to Volunteers’
On Monday 1st June at 8pm we are calling on Havering residents to say ‘thank you’ to all our volunteers. You can do this by decorating your windows with bunting and standing on your doorstep along with your neighbours to raise a cuppa (or a glass of something stronger) and say ‘Cheers to the Volunteers’
Havering Volunteer Centre would like you to nominate your volunteer heroes and provide them with video clips, photos or thank you statements which they will place on their website daily and promote through their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Please email to: volunteering@haveringvc.org.uk By 2pm on Monday 1st June 2020.
Without our vital volunteering army many organisations, groups, our community and residents in Havering would suffer.
